AZ Hops and Vines celebrating second Bacchanal festival this weekend | Business
The Arizona Hops and Vines second Annual Bacchanal Festival May 11 isn’t just another celebration of wine and debauchery. Ok, it is a celebration of wine and debauchery, stated ‘tongue in cheek’ by the winery.
According to a news release from Arizona Hops and Vines, they succeeded in changing a state law earlier this week, which will allow a brewery and a winery to operate on the same piece of land.
This second annual Bacchanal Festival will celebrate the ‘marriage of the perfect odd couple, winemaking and microbrewing.’ In addition the celebration will also help to fund Sonoita’s first brewery and Arizona’s first winery/brewery.
At this year’s festival will be Borderlands Brewing Co. as well as food trucks and local gourmet chefs to showcase the gourmet beer, wine and food parings. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone, as there will be live music, games, kids’ crafts, baby goat-feeding and the winery’s signature sober shack featuring homemade sodas and candy.

WHERE: Arizona Hops and Vines (3450 Highway 82, Elgin, Arizona 85637)
